Given your comment to Swandog why bring the alignment into anything, this is about two young men one in hospital and one who now has as well the incident the suspension and its stigma,

Swandog knew what he was doing and I'm not getting sucked in. 2 members of our WAFL community are doing it very tough right now and it's not the time to try and point score against one another.

The problem we have is that the afl do not have a cohesive policy on sling tackles.Players need to have education and guidance on what is a acceptable tackle. In the nrl sling tackles are taken more seriously.The afl have come down hard on high bumps but not slinging.On Saturday Luke Hodge slung Callum Sinclair to the ground and got a fine. Duty of care for players is paramount.It's a couple of years since this incident on Robbie Gray but nothing seems to have changed.

I can understand why he accepted the 10 weeks, he's probably had enough of the media attention and wants the focus to be on Beau and his recovery.

The whole issue is a bad nightmare. Those 2 boys have had their lives changed forever and possibly their futures as well. I can only wish both of them a better, brighter future.

Your the one who started talking about other examples, and it's very relevant to compare incidents as this thread is about a 10 week suspension, got nothing to do with any points scoring, I'll leave that to 10 yr olds on social media!
