..Peel rorting the WAFL is no different to clubs rorting the points system, salary caps or winning GF with a player in a drug induced state....who in fark is Balic?...is he really gonna win Peel a final?....yeah of course he is?

Yes agreed it is a load of whatever but I think if you look back you will find that a number of clubs have done the same thing when there was not an alignment. The actions by both VFL clubs have in the past directed WAFL clus abd the selections process, nothing new just the same old rubbish.

Oh and SwanD how old was O'Neill when he sat on the bench, just a laugh bloke but was 15 or 14.

Sorry for the delay, haven't been looking much of late.

I recall that the Swannies put a young fella on the bench in a league game to ensure he was tied to them, I though his surname was o'neill, he was quite young at the time, 15 or 16. He, if my memory serves, turned out to be quite a good player, big fella.

played a bit of league footy in the 70's.
certainly used to happen a bit when interchange blokes used to not get on as much that clubs would qualify a kid when a zoning change was coming up.

Joe O'Neil was 13. One game only and didn't come off the bench.

He's often confused with John O'Neill who was playing for Swans at the time.
