With a nine team Comp and the number of games played by each team, mathematically you have to have one round with just two games. So why not get it out of the way on the first weekend of the season. Why not kick off the season with a grand final replay and maybe the previous season's 3rd v 4th. Then you'd just have one bye per weekend for the rest of the season.
