And it happened when FREMANTLE were in the Competition,possibly after the '99 Match between the Vics and South Australia.

Of course the Vote was Confidential,but you don't have to be a Rhodes Scholar to work out which clubs didn't want a huge chunk of their players playing just 1 State Game.West Coast of course,but Adelaide,where Croweaters loved to Kick a Vic,radically changed the South Australian attitude to State of Origin.

Fremantle,relatively new to the AFL Competition would have followed West Coast on the Vote,for the exact reason given above.If you think otherwise,you are kidding yourself.The 2 AFL Clubs here are closer than you like to think.Same situation exists in South Australia,where they not only stuffed up State of Origin,they are doing a damn good job of buggering up the SANFL.Sound familiar?

Oh no,that's right.You probably think Freo and West Coast's presence is good for the WAFL.don't you?

In their short existence,have Fremantle once,like West Coast ever jumped up and down and screamed out loud and asked for the return of State of Origin?I don't believe they have.

If you think otherwise,I'll be happy for you to point out any statements from Rick Hart,David Hatt etc,to the contrary.But I won't my breath here.

As always,the NRL shits all over the AFL when it comes to State of Origin,because clubs like Brisbane and North Queensland put aside any notion of Selfishness,for the greater cause of Queensland knocking off the Arrogant sods down South.Not just once,but 3 Times a season,in front of Full Houses.

I don't believe the 2 AFL Clubs here can cover themselves in Glory 1 Iota when it comes to State of Origin Footy.But I can blame them for their attitude on it.It Stinks!
