Great topic.The Krakour name has to be the most Famous surname in Wa Footy.
2010 and Andrew .Not just a Swans story but a Great moment in the history of Wa sport.
Jimmy and Phil- What a fantastic era in Wa footy.Have though if thoes two champions had of played during the Wafl golden era of the 50's and 60's.Could never say which brother was better.Jim had the harder body around clearances and Phils skill where supurb.Both read the play and the bounce of the ball.Something gifted to the Indiginious players.

if I had to pick one of them I'd take jim, or toss a coin.
It is a polish surname grassy. The book on them by sean gorman, Brotherboys, is an excellent read

Was a great read TOO.

2 Andrew Krakouer's have played WAFL mate. Jim, Phil & the late Billy's younger brother Andrew who played at SF early 90's (also played 8 games for North Melbourne) plus Jim's son Andrew who as we all at SD know played a reasonable part in our 2010 Premiership side (what the WAFL could do with that sort of publicity these days) he also played nearly 150 AFL games at Rich & Coll (the AK Freeze still stews over)! :)

When did Billy pass away? Loved him and his WAFL magic.
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

And Stan Nowotny? Top bloke - played seniors with him in the late 80's.
