Lewis Krakouer was the 7th Krakouer to play WAFL league footy on Sat apparently - Jim, Phil, Andy, Nathan, Billy make 6, who is the 7th? I'm racking my memory..

2 Andrew Krakouer's have played WAFL mate. Jim, Phil & the late Billy's younger brother Andrew who played at SF early 90's (also played 8 games for North Melbourne) plus Jim's son Andrew who as we all at SD know played a reasonable part in our 2010 Premiership side (what the WAFL could do with that sort of publicity these days) he also played nearly 150 AFL games at Rich & Coll (the AK Freeze still stews over)! :)

Andy Krak had a fantastic 2010 that's for sure...the load of carrying that SD 2010 side all season probably did his career in TBH.....that's probably why he went to WP on coming back to WA BH....once was enough carrying 21 others....why do it again?..especially since TC and Coniglio were gone....at least they did something on GF day to help poor old AK...eased the work load some what I guess..

Just for me Jimmy & Philip were the best of the family tree but I'm split on Jimmy & Philip as to who was the most damaging of the pair

Jimmy won plenty of the ball & his uncanny ability to somehow find Philip out of nowhere with a deft footpass was amazing sometimes , particularly in their Claremont days

But Philip could bag a heap of goals in a game & usually never missed with that peculiar kicking style , and he was deadly kicking it to Ralph on a lead

50/50 with maybe Philip slightly ahead

I agree Southy Phil was a brilliant player especially around the goals and his combination with Jimmy worth the admission ticket alone.
I was absolutely flabbergasted Phil was left out of the Indigenous team of the Century years back that was chosen by a bunch of Victorians who still believe Kevin Sheedy was the "mastermind" behind introducing indigenous talent to the main stream completely ignoring the work the likes of Mal Brown, Graham Moss, John Todd & many other coaches in WA & SA had done years before Sheedy and in which Sheedy acknowledges privately!

Complete farce 'Beas mate - for example I remember going back a few years when certain VFL clubs would not have Indigenous players inside their doors let alone on the field

Their Halls of Fame or whatever they decide to title them are purely for their own lot (or whoever they deem as their lot developed by their comp which usually derived wank)

I remember that farce beas, phil not making the team of the century, was an absolute joke.
if I had to pick one of them I'd take jim, or toss a coin.
It is a polish surname grassy. The book on them by sean gorman, Brotherboys, is an excellent read
