DG: I agree on Clinton Brown. I think he is on the cover of a football budget in April 1983 taking a big mark. When they made him into a back man, conscious of his opponent, there were a few less.

Bunton when he became coach turned Clint Brown into a backman, not sure why as you blokes already had the likes of Crutchfield, Wilkinson, Zanotti, Rod Brown and Sniper Willet down there, he should have left him as a high leaping forward who kicked the occasional bagful.

BH: Correct -- we also had another guy -- Paul Wallwork -- whom played down there as well until he injurred a knee. He might have kicked straight in the 1985 grand final?

I do remember Wallwork AR he didnt have a long career and came in after defenders the likes of Brad Lohoar, Mitch Fussell, Gerry Cotter, Ian Tucker & co had moved on from memory.
