As a Subi supporter I expect to be at the wrong end of the free kick count. It's something I've had to get used to. I'd love to see some stats on how many games Subi have had more free kicks than the opposition in the last 15 years or so, wouldn't be many. I often wonder why that is. I've put it down to the fact we have generally had really hard tackling players and they get pinged not for illegal tackles, just that umpires can't differentiate between an illegal tackle and a hard but fair tackle. No surprise to see south freo at the top of the list with hams and Schloithe, but they weren't too bad yesterday. The umpires were good in the first half but the third quarter became a joke

We've just come to accept it and actually have a good laugh about it now.

I'd like to see a free kick count to the 15 minute mark of the third quarter.

After that the game is generally done and dusted and I have a worrying suspicion that there is some evening up.

Funny you should say that, I'm of the exact same opinion. Late in the Subi V South game it was 26-7
