Swandog brought up a good point to me the other day regarding EF being March premiers. I assume simply because EF had flogged his beloved black n whites.....SF have flogged them and now Peel...well actually Peel should of flogged them by more but kicked appallingly......everyone knows Subi will be top 2....SF certainly look the goods at present....3 - 0 .....EF like Peel, WP, Claremont and Perth are all 1 - 1......the other two sadly 0-3.......

if anyone had to bet on who would win the flag tomorrow who would it be?......SF for me......their mids look top notch....and their forwards a good mix of tall/medium /small...

while we are at it who would you bet on to win the wooden spoon tomorrow..... SD purely because EP, if needs be could drop back anyone of their AFL guys to help the cause...unlike SD who don't have the finances or depth to do so sadly

Swandog is full of good chat Bazza.....just got to get past all the expletives mate.....ooops I mean passion!......though I was concerned he put EF ahead of SF TBH....SF are unbeaten and EF aren't.....thus along side Subi would be worthy premiers if awarded tomorrow....ditto SD for the spoon it seems....early days though.....

yes...good topic freez. i'm not sure how souths are situated injury wise but Subi have quite a few starting 22 still to come in so they'll be thereabouts. Also FART worries me in that if Freo continue to lose games Lyon won't have much choice but to look towards next year and start blooding young blokes which means some of their older guys like Mayne, Clancee Pearce, Ballantyne, Suban and co could realistically drop back for extended periods. Same goes for WART but I think they have less to worry about at AFL level than Freo.

the bogans for the spoon.

Im at an utter loss as to how the likes of Mayne Suban C Pearce and even the Goblin have hung onto their spots for as long as this, if this goes for another week and Lyon fails to act, you really have to wonder.
