From my point of view Mike, if George had come out and said that OzF wanted to run a tipping comp, there would have been some discussion and probably acceptance. To say 'here's the comp, take it or leave it' doesn't endear it to anyone. True, you have to run the site to an acceptable level (which you do very well), but 'my way or the highway' just don't work if you want to keep people here. Besides that, all us old fg'ers love the old oos

Yes, there can be two comps, I really don't see a problem with this. You can enter one or the other, or both if you like.

The WAFC have donated a prize as per the description on the Tipping Comp tab at the top of the page.

I have also spoken with George, and the confusion should have settled.

I value Oos input, and for Oos to run a comp is fine as far as I am concerned, as the WAFC have stipulated the comp is run by a 3rd party provider as part of its prize agreement.

Its a free world, I don't want to force anyone to do one or the other.

As it stands:-

o The OzFooty.Net Tipping Comp is the official one.
o Oos comp is run by Oos for those who do not want to participate in the "Official" comp.

I think this is fair enough.

You are delusional. You beat me last year but the year before I toweled you up. remember Swans finished I dont know about 7th and you kept tipping them. Remember the 3 first games of the year no wins no premiership scenario. You can go to 150 games of WAFL a season but if Swans dont keep winning you are gone. GONE I tell you/

I have entered my tips on the WAFL competition one but nothing appears for the ozfooty one?

As Southener said we can use this thread to show our tips and add some banter, it aint rocket science fellas!!

My tips for round 1 are:

Feral eagles by 18pts
Claremont (by ... pick a number)
East freo (only coz it's at shark park)
Peel Dockers (by lots, must be the big improvers this year)
