The reaction to EP's defeat on here has been quite interesting, especially given that most of the comment has been from people whom don't even support the club. The fact is they have lost one game, and there not even the first club to lose badly when a favourite son has a milestone; many clubs have done that, including Subiaco in big games for Neil Taylor and Phil Lamb years ago. Let us wait and see where EP finish on the ladder before making a proper analysis; after all, they have never finished lower than third as the alignment club, which is hardly a shambles.

The point of the story by Brendon Foster Ark was that the Royals seem to be a play thing fir the Eagles, I have no doubt the Royals will win many games and probably finish top 2-4 on the ladder. But there is a clear divide between what both parties want, East Perth want to win Premierships and the Eagles need a training ground for their depth players. How do you convince the Eagles to get their players to want to win at all cost for the Royals?

Good article by Foster , but tbh anyone could see it, on the other hand if the Royals were dominating playing like a German Band beating the world - we would be saying its a disaster as well. Anyway it look at it its a set up to help the two local monsters.

Yep give it a little while longer, but I dont think they will intro knew teams, two clubs will be absorbed and taken as full reserves teams, name change the lot.
