Any Blackmail Bullshit from those F**ksticks of the Commission Executive and A Vote of No Confidence gets Fired in to the Government of the Day,be it Col or Sneakers. Then they must step in and See things Our Way.

NO COMPROMISE!

Oh yeah,of course,if the poor dears have only got loose change of their Swiss bank accounts available to travel, then perhaps they can arrange their own Reserves scratch matches,a few times a year. That's all they need really. Then Peel and East PERTH are free to play the way they're meant to be.As Thunder and Royals.

I don't give Fat Rat's Clacker what the Eagles and Dockers say about McHenry and co.This is Our State Competition at Stake and they are Fucking us over! This is getting beyond niceties, even if we are fighting City Hall 10 Times over. angry:

What sort of deluded parrallel universe do you live in Grassy?

This crap about No Compromise, Votes of No Confidence , its fanatasy mate, every club is beholden to the WAFC and AFL Clubs for financial survival , they line up each week for the bucks and the WAFC tell them what they can do and cant do, no body will change anything because its impossible to survive otherwise, look at the entry of the eagles the dockers, peel the alignment, its a sorry tale of enfeebled, weak, financially exposed clubs bending over and doing what they are told...

Heres a tip mate, if your really want to embolden Perth, sell your mansion in well heeled area of Wembley and donate the $2 Million to Perth and then they might have the ability to stand on their own two feet.,,meanwhile they have jumped into bed with guess who - the eagles.

Where did you hear about jumping into bed with the Eagles, oh that's right Hackdorn,Basil and Barich .

why would anyone buy it anchor? does it generate revenue? I dont think so...maybe a bit of sponsorship money but that would go pretty quickly in upkeep. if someone was to buy this site they'd have to think long and hard about charging to post on here...maybe a $10 one off registration fee for each poster might be the go.

Cant speak for others who have dropped off in previous seasons but for mine there are a couple of contributing factors.

Up until last season I was a paid up member and attended 95% of games regardless of location with my to boys.

Admission price isn't an issue though if being honest it's $10 tops. Dropping $5 will not drag them through the gate though.

Biggest issue for me is the ramped up costs once you are inside the gates. And yes you can bring the sandwiches from home and your thermos, but many like me enjoy a quiet ale and a bit of grease. Some grounds are better than others, some should be wearing pirate patches. Venues West is a prime example and I will not step inside the gates at Joondalup while they are involved (or at least there is an alternate option).

Last season I headed to an A Grade amateur club where some mates are involved. Headed down to the home games for the season, quality of footy is not WAFL but then again the standard of WAFL is not what it used to be either. For a day out watching some live footy, having a kick with the kids and a quiet beer on the sidelines you can not beat it. Pricing on food and beverages is great and the atmosphere around the place on most weeks is as good as anywhere.

Fact is WAFL isn't the standard it once it was. Its not the place you go to watch the best of the best anymore yet the charges once inside are based on the elite level.

Some clubs do it better than others, most though have a long way to go. It's a business, if you cant come up with a model that keeps the customer coming back then shut the gates. You can not simply rely on the old faithful turning back up year after year, there is no concession for those that have stuck fat opening there wallets every year. No incentive to renew. I can buy a coffee at my local and be rewarded for the 10th cup being free.

My 2 bobs worth anyway.. I love a game a footy, but I can get just as much enjoyment heading down to the Ammo ground just down the road and my wallet is nowhere near as light for the experience.

I know it's each to their own and I'm not having a crack at anyone in particular, but it astounds me that supporters can't go and spend a couple of hours watching a game of footy without pouring piss down their throats. I enjoy a drink more than most but I can't see any good reason to hit the turps during the afternoon when a game is on especially with prices the way they are. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

I dont go to the footy to drink, bring my own food and I buy a coffee before I get in, with kids it would be a different matter I think in regards to food because they all love a hot dog /chips treat etc I know I did as a kid, but some prices are over the top and quality shit - Bassos quality is top notch though!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!
