Guys. Sorry if this has been discussed earlier but I have just heard that Gary Moss has left East Perth and is playing amateurs with Wembley this season. Surely this is not true.

The WAFL or East Perth does not want to lose class players like Mossy.

So he obviously hates and detests what's going on with the host club, but can't stand the thought of playing against East Perth.

Just another reason,we must rid ourselves of this Infestation.Having their own teams in our competition will not help things 1 Iota. They know the one option left is quite manageable, easily affordable and they should bite the bullet,do the right thing, aong with Fremantle and head off East with their spare players.

Memo West Coast And Fremantle Club Management : Stop helping the AFL Fuck our competition over!

What a load of crap unless this happened between Saturday and today. He played in the EF game and before hand when I was talking to him he was ok and after was opk as well so just think KK is dribbling shit!

I did say I thought Moss could hold his spit in the team.I add, that is despite of the Host Club Scam.

Grassy I am sorry to contradict you but you like a lot of folk on this site attribute player turn over at EP to the alignment. Yep there are one or two who have done so for that reason and I would not deny that, having said that our turnover is the same if not less than other clubs.

Tommy Shanahan, Freddie the Clutterbuck and another that I can't recall would have left with that as a contributing reason. Others have left due to the same as other players leaving your club, just not good enough to make in the league and they have been told that, sometimes a bitter pill, other have left for work, travel etc.

The only other player who has left in the last 3 years that everyone makes comment abt is the 'Boy' and he is still waiting to play league on a regular basis and despite the best advice from his mum and manager is not likely to be drafted having gone elsewhere!

Grump. I heard this on the weekend from two different sources. I hoped it was not true as Mossy is a great player and he would be huge loss to not only EP but to the WAFL competition. I followed up this morning and as you said it is a load of crap. It must be someone at Wembley stirring up people with bull.

Grump there is heaps that have left EP because of the alignment.. Seal, Grover, Sweet, Maldenis, Gordon, Cluterbuck , Morton, Dobson & on it goes most of these played in the GF a few years back so to say that its only partly cos of the alignment is just crazy.

Ok one by one

Grover yep probably gave the alignment as the reason but the reality was that he was never going to be a league footballer as history has shown
Seal as I understand it decided that he had a career and wanted to allow for that
Maldenis went to Vic and played over there for a change
Matty Gordon left the club and came back and due to on going injury issues decided the rigours where a little more than he could put up with,
Clutter yeah I agree that the alignment did him no good last season but his lack of fitness also contributed to that
Morton was WCE and was delisted so not an alignment issues, a few straws being clutched at here
Dobson yeah probably was but he also had a few injuries
Tommy S is the only other one that I can think of!

Then there are the couple of fringe ones that went for more of a chance but apart from Wytk none of the rest would have been close to being in the league team even without the alignment

The thing abt is how many of them went to another WAFL club, Freddie and Tommy seems to be the only ones so again a bit of clutching happening here.

I don't like the alignment for more reasons than you but I don't try to find excuses where none exist.

How many players have left your City and state government subsidised club in the past 3 years more or less, how many went to another club, how many players have you recruited for outside WA and how much is the JCC and VW giving you in return for your relocation.

The alignment is bad for the WAFL no doubt but so is the continual financial subsidies being handed out to clubs who can't make a go of it. Look at Swans, in difficulty and have worked their way out of it and they use their own players to do it with the few imports, less than at least 5 clubs we could discuss!

So basically these home grown talents that came thru the EP system had either injury problems or were not good enough to play league footy.. when duds like Karpany, main, lycett & co get gifted games in front of these guys no wonder they are sore all the time..

I agree, I sit there and wonder how people like Karpany, Main (although a really nice fella) Wilson and others actually got drafted when I watch a Callum Hart, some of the Swans boys and others but then what would I know I am only an EP supporter and as I was told by one of the colts the best Hydration support person going around.

The fact that we know have to play our development players is the BEST thing abt the alignment because it means they have a chance albeit slim which is more than the had when the skipper of the PT 73 and the ensign parker recruited such great players that not cost a the earth but reduced the chances of the colts players to even get close!

grassy take a deep breathe take a bex and have a look at the Sunday times and you will see players from all nine clubs are leaving for various reasons.rumour has it that the demons are instilling traffic lights outside lathlain park to ease the congestion of players coming and going.

I commend the resilience of your players,if they hold firm to the Royals, when it is clear, that one or two toasters warrant a spell in the Magoos.I'm not holding my breath on that score.

can you let me know when any former east perth players can break into Perth's league side. Are they still playing ressies.
