All of the above are news to me, I was told 2nd hand but originally from a reliable source that Watson was staying East, no idea regarding Duffy. ROB heading to Peel is a massive loss to you boys, he is chasing what he thinks is guaranteed Finals I reckon!

Could ROB be looking for a swansong back at Peel to finish his career perhaps.

Have East Fremantle upset Max already. They should realise he will be a bit touchy, fancy a player of his ilk being delisted. It's just not right, ask him.

Peel is not the same football club he left.
I suspect Freo have bankrolled his move back,imo it has nothing to do with feeling sentimental about finishing his career there.

Yeah ROB is an influential player at EF, but in a way his departure(if true) opens the door for younger inside mids in Schleicher, Jacob Green, Perry and Adamini to develop.....with already mature mids in MacNamara and Anthony running around, there was talk that EF midfield was old and slow with ROB also in the mix.....with ROB being 30 next year, I think EF have been lucky to have the benefit of his more influential playing days eg: multiple Lynn Medals, Sandover and Captaincy.

As for Duffy......dropping from an AFL wage to a WAFL wage is massive, can't blame anyone seeking out the best deal footy wise for them self TBH......hopefully he stays at EF, but just life if he goes else where I guess......alas Clint Jones playing at Perth instead of SF.
