Let me put it on record that I acknowledge, despite my doubts, that the WAFC has withstood the pressure from the Eagles to allow two unqualified players to play for the club formerly known as East Perth on Sunday. It is not often I can say this: well done WAFC.

What is breathtaking, however, is the hide, temerity, audacity and gall of the Eagles to even ask for such dispensation. Next they will think that no matter what, their reserves' team should automatically qualify for the WAFL finals each year.

Think you're being a bit harsh there boys. The rule on qualifying is a bit odd in that had the Eagles lost last week the 5 game rule doesn't count. So next week when the Eagles are playing if EP get through the 5 game rule doesn't count and the said players will be eligible to play.

The VFL team are not happy about this at all and will force a change over the off season to this rule to the WAFC that they have total control over..watch this space!

I do find it a bit odd that Selwood played and mcginnity was eligible to play against us in the elimination final but they can't play this week?

Geez I hope to buggery that West Perth eject the ferals on Sunday and both Wet Toast and The Shockers lose prelims next week, that would be golden after all the trash we have had to listen too the past few weeks

Rules are rules RD, the minimum games played is there for a reason.
