A big dude named Stephen Hooper (ex-Subi/EP/Geel) ran right through him in the late 80's early 90's and nearly cut the poofter in half - it went to court from memory coz Basil cried so much
He never played again

yes, if swans and the falcons met it would be blessing for the wafl. I don't know if these two great clubs have ever met in a grand final, I cant recall. I can tell you blokes now, a shitty crappy afternoon, these two clubs will attract a big crowd. the hand baggers & the pea & poo don't have the supports and it would be a waist of time to play the game.

By my memory only. Hooper got (I guess) 7 weeks because guess what, his first game back was against West Perth - and he ran through Zempilas again and took him out!
Glad to be corrected or enlightened by someone with more fact, but that's what I recall.

Your memory is quite good. Stephen came back and at the opening bounce against Claremont he jumped up and kicked the Claremont ruckman in the face. Fitzgerald perhaps and I think he received 4 more weeks. Bazil had a QC for an uncle from memory and wanted Hooper locked up.
