Yesterday I visited Leederville and was amazed not only to find the electronic scoreboard not working but the PA not working as well. What's going on at this ground? For an event like this surely the equipment should have been checked. Then we were fobbed off with this tiny little scoreboard which looked liked the Carines under 12's scoreboard which noone could read unless you were standing two feet away from it. This isn't good enough. For the amount of money the WAFC get, they should spend it on maintaining the scoreboard. Get back to the decent scoreboards like Joody or Basso.

the same thing happened at the same game 2 years ago, I remember it well. It was a joke having a game with no scoreboard that day. Good to see some things never change. The manual scoreboards are the best. Unfortunately for Lathlain Park, they will lose their scoreboard soon once the Eagles redevelopment starts. They too are getting one of those shitty electronic boards. I hope the Lathlain scoreboard get retained. Or relocated at another ground at least. These old PCC boards like the ones used at Perth Oval & Leederville were the best. Sorry to see them go.

the electronic board down at Centrelink Park is actually quite good. The one at Leederville is very poor.

Freo's Scoreboard is the best.

Totally agree Bazza. The only up to date scores from all games.
The rest don't bother to put up scores for other games.

Was the the time clock working at Leederville?

It sure isn't good enough. 2 WAFL clubs share the ground and can't get a scoreboard. Not the WAFC's problem - surely some of the almost 1/2 million the clubs get each year they could put some aside for facilities! The WAAFL fines clubs who can't provide a scoreboard!!
