I wouldn't bother arguing with idiots who don't know the game mate! They just bring you down to their level. Anyone with half a footy brain following the WAFL knows he is in the top 3 defenders in the comp and more versatile than any other defender too..Perhaps Bird and Astro are still dark that Simmo booted 5 in the 2010 Prelim final at Basso to springboard us into the Grand Final and sending that now defunct club East Perth to mothballs!! He also holds the alltime WAFL record for number of Tackles in a game = 20 R11 2011..pretty sure that was v South and he booted 5 that day too and these assclowns reckon he doesn't defend?? They must be the ERT fans who stand under the Medibank sign in front of the old toilets in the outer smoking weed

I thought Franz would have been a contender for full back or a pocket thisyear, hasn't had many goals kicked on him this year and has been ultra consistent for 100 games now. thought Matt Davies would have been in the squad too, has been one of our shining lights this season and last year and is strong, a good size, versatile, and probably has the most powerful boot in the wafl.

Cant see a large crowd at the game.
Even if 500 from each of the 9 WAFL teams turned up it would amount to 4500
That wont happen as pushing to get 500 for regular season games from a couple of clubs

There will be overflow from the U18 supporters so that will help.

Interesting to notice listening to ABC Local news this morning at 9am and they gave all the Rugby league scores , AFL games being played today especially the Docker and the ins and outs.. Not a whisper about the State Game..
Wonder if they even knew it was on at ABC..??? Most probably not as the WAFC Media doesnt go overboard.

500 turned up when WA v NEAFL but that was mainly due to a last minute change of venue from a curtain raiser at a AFL game to Blacktown. The AFL girls didnt want the oval chopped up for the AFL game. Strange we have Colts,Reserves and then league on the one ground on Match day. Most probably a injury concern by the AFL
