Spot on Growler it makes you wonder..I didnt realise Chris was not selected as the final side was going to be selected Thursday night? Yet Brett on WAFLWORLD Said Chris will not be playing state football this weekend to his Surprise.. and more on it later but they ran out of time... Listen to WAFLWORLD broadcast at link below and goto the 0450 Minute mark where he states this... I thought I had misheard but had another listen and there it was.. Unless he has an injury as strange Brett would know the final team before it was Announced?

I've sat back and had another think about this entire process of the picking and culling of the current State squad and it just very simply ...'SUCKS'!

Why can’t the entire squad be selected and those that didn't make it be told all at same time?
Am I naïve??? And yes I understand the difficulties involved with injuries etc but it’s was to piece meal…
Or at worst have two (2) notification culls that all are made aware of prior to Jumper night as should be the footy public.
If you’re going to have two or three or four selection changes at random it’s ridiculous as is the statement we will be choosing CURRENT on form players from this year’s finest group.. CRAP!

I'm sorry but EP 'Johnson' doesn't rate in either of those two above mentioned criteria against WP 'Kuenen' as do many of the other picks to date and I refer to those have been dropped and then to those that have been bought in as late inclusions...
Johnson’s main ability is ‘lumbering on’ and a immense presence due to size alone… in my observation he is 2/3ds the player he was in 2014 – his stats (if you like stats) say that clearly as does his last three games for EP… so current form HA!!

And do they think the football public are that entirely ill-advised to believe that no final selections have been made or omissions finalised when publications like the FOOTY BUDGET can have these final selections on the editing table, printed, then placed onto WEB SITES etc. before those spouting the words apparently even know ….
The same for when the State Teams first selections were made and we the public were told it would be divulged on the Monday when low and behold it was in the BUDGET on the Fri prior, edited, printed and available on WEB three days before the grand announcement, which then turned into seven when it finally hit the WAFL site..

How the hell is this going to play out in the WA state coach’s box??

Mr Darren Harris HC of the State Team with whom I’d hoped would lead new thinking to sweep over the teams selections, strategy/plays of the day, and infuse a fresh motivation into the squad has to this points effort been most disappointing and belongs aside failures such as Eddie McGuire’s efforts at being unbiased, Or Hird’s efforts of not showing arrogance. (Just to add a giggle)

I’ll be there on Sat more so that I can see for myself how it all out plays out on the field rather than rely on journalistic make-believe transcribed in most media sadly.. ..and with AFL bias enclosed..

Should be no excuse for a poor attendance at the game. Apparently the weather is looking good for Saturday. Partly cloudy conditions and 21° is the forecast temperature.

Out of interest Growler how do Johnson's stats for disposals, marks, goals, tackles stack up against Kuenen this year. Not to mention that in some games Jonhson has not rucked as much as past years.

Growler what's ironic mate is that WP boys are getting dumped by Harris and Dimmer who are two WP icons!

could they be saving them for the regular season? i recall Brad Smith being vilified for making himself unvailable for state duties even though his knees were a week to week thing..sounds like there's a conspiracy by harris and dimmer to do likewise with the jerker players...
