BH, what was the pedigree of Jim Buckley?

The one I know was a ruckman from Carnarvon who Swans tried to get down in the mid eighty’s.

Jim Buckley was a ruckman who Toddy finally coaxed to Basso in 86 from Donnybrook after a host of our ruckmen got injured or left the club. He played for a few years before going back to the bush. Interestingly I noticed Peter Nuich (father of current ruckman Jake) was one of those ruckmen of the time.

I can only tell you that a number of contributors on this Forum, for their own reasons, seem convinced that Larry Bird is East Perth CEO Dean Turner.

Maybe one of them (or even Larry himself) can answer.
