The 2015 state game, WA v SA will be played at Lathlain. My God, the WAFC using a bit of lateral thinking. Well done. Hopefully it's a harbinger of more to come, namely future state games shared around so WAFL clubs get some extra $$$$.
The cynic in me says, mmmmm perhaps a reward for accepting the West Coast as partners at Lathlain.

I like the idea of rotating interstate games so all WAFL clubs have a chance to host one. Lathlain is central, with plenty of parking and it's a good viewing ground.

Yeah but Lathlain is apparently in one of socio-economically challenged area's of Perth......best to take the train rather than risk the hubcaps of your car.....rather the game be played at Subi oval, be interested to see what Waltons reasons would be this time for a sub par crowd

Should really of been at Leederville, Lathlain isnt exactly a show piece ground, looking a bit run down these days and the surface compared to Leederville and Freo is pretty ordinary. Although better than Northam.

I guess the SA bogans will feel at home in the pig pen.

Not really the old stands at Basso are pretty rudimentary compared to the far newer bigger and more comfortable ones at Leederville.

great move playing it at Lathlain - im sure they will get it up to scratch anyway. one of my favourite football grounds. would be great to beat the croweaters after beating the Vics. Will it even be televised? At this stage probably not
