very surprised Dell'olio been delisted doggie......seem to come on as a last quarter sub most matches I saw him play.....did ok......be a great get for you boys.....he and Jetta are two pacy small forwards who could cause some real mischief in the WAFL......be interested to see if they do come back, that similar sized fella's like Sokol, Miller-Lewis & Matera x 2 might look else where for opportunities.....not saying they will, but SF will have a plethora of quality small - medium sized guys(Hams, Schloithe, Carter x 2, Verrier x 2 Martinez, Bewick, Gugs etc ) only so many spots in a 22 available.....Perth may come sniffing I reckon......

It couldn't have happened too often surely where 5 blokes from 1 WAFL club get the chop / delisted / retire etc from the AFL in 1 year?

Dell'olio (Ess), McGrath (BL), Jones (StK), Jetta (Ess) and Carter (WCE) all without an AFL home. Can even add Ben Newton (Port) who didn't agree to his latest contract and is a free agent as we speak.

Could be great for SFFC - if we can get em back. 5 points for 5 pretty good players. Wish 2 of them were over the 190cms mark though =)

I'd say Carter will come straight back and play with his brother and hopefully both the ex- Essendon boys join up together in the SF forward line. How deadly would they be around Saunders, Pullman and Sellar?

McGrath down back with Hams would be great and Jones in the middle using some pace would be a huge addition. Wonder if any AFL club will look at Schloithe or Time Kelly for a rookie spot in the draft? Could happen.

Add maybe a good tall as our prized recruit for 2015 and the colts who will come through and we should have some depth.

Cooky back from injury will be huge too. Very important for us.

The lack of a small forward or 2 over the past 3 years has hurt us heaps. Come in Dell and Jets . . . hopefully!!

Doggie.....Newton refused to sign an extension and asked to be delisted.....thus to me he is either stupid or already has a suitor lined up......Menagola did it at Hawthorn a few years back.....though that did not fast track his AFL career one bit at Freo.....LOL.....

EF could be in the same boat with Brennan, Menagola, Hardingham and Lucas already delisted and North yet to announce their delistings yet, but have till tomorrow before the deadline.....thus Anthony is definitely on the delisting chopping board there!!.....that's a possible 5 ins for EF..... but all are under 190cm too.....LOL.......though Lucas surely will be rookied(at least) some where and Hardingham(though 27 next year) could find another AFL list.....the rest are done and dusted AFL wise I reckon.
