I fully expect the WAFC fools to use this excuse in the coming days.

I must say that this was the first GF I never bothered to tune into since the days when there was no TV and only Radio Australia up north. I had no interest today. Having said that, well done Subi and maybe it would have been worth tuning in to.

SANFL grand final today had 38,644 attend, admittedly on a sunny day with the two most popular clubs. They are doing something right in S.A.

I watched the 2nd half on TV 58shark and it was a good contested old style slog of a game. I actually enjoyed it. You could tell that Subiaco were gradually getting on top in the 3rd quarter as East Perth had too many lumbering players unsuited to the conditions.

East Perth lost Mcginnity who was one of their better "in and under players" and Subi had a purple patch where they kicked 4 or 5 goals in a very short space of time. Even then East Perth had a few opportunities to get back into it early in the last quarter but missed several kickable goals. Josh Smith missed a set shot from 15 metres out!!

Some of the Eagles guys went missing when the going got tough (e.g Hill). I felt sorry for Wulff becuase he is the heart and soul of the real East Perth and he gave his all.....

I would like to know what the EP hierarchy will say to locals like Dobson, Howlett & Hart when we all know how much they love the club compared to say Hill, Smith & mcginnity. Shame on you EP & you deserve everything you get.

That may well be the swan song for Hill and a couple of his Eagle team mates then.

The WCE boys don't give a stuff about the jumper.

Should have watched the colts pressos for some idea on how to play for the jumper BOG Jason Daniels had tears after winning BOG and a flag. Why? Passion for your team.

Spare a thought also for Dom Sheed and Calum Sinclair who were Subiaco boys prior to this year and have missed this premiership through decisions made outside their control

Mcginnity sitting out the 2nd half with a broken finger and Hampson soldering on with more strapping than Phar Lap said it all as far as who was playing for the jumper...

McGinnity not alone as far as no heart for the occasion.

Dawson made the same mistake as last year going into a wet day top heavy. Forward line pressure from EP weak as p... not to mention how easily some of the Eagle wannabe's were beaten in contests all over the ground.

Last but not least. Josh Hill, a young East Perth player would have relished the opportunity today, instead this waste of space took the opportunity away. Complete waste of space.

Congrats to Subi. Great team effort rewarded on the day.
