Walton said on 6pr last night that there was no singed deal with C7. I am told ABC still keen and C9 are too but WAFC still snubbing them. I haev said it may times, Walton and co must resign their position and get some one in who knows what they are doing

If C7 get the gig will West Perth be allowed to wear the C9 sponsored jumper with NINE NEWS with logo on the front. Something tells me that C7 wont let them. Its just a thought.

The WAFC "muppets" will ignore all others as Channel 7 has a special relationship with the AFL due to their coverage of the AFL, let's face it, keeping in with the AFL is what WAFC is all about, WAFL means nothing. If the Channel 7 deal never eventuates then watch them duck for cover. Can't remember which poster on this site said it, but I agree, time to sell the two AFL club rights back to the AFL and take the $$$ and run. Divide the $$$ between the G6, East Perth, Peel & now Perth with their pending deal with the Eagles can fend for themselves.

That was me mate.

If no deal has yet been signed, it means silly seven would still be asking far too much. One feels if abc tv are still keen, they'd need financial assistance because of the staff cutbacks in recent years. Also abc losing out in the monetary budget as well is not good.
