I've heard talk about a top 5 next year. That's great news. Three WAFL teams will get to play a little bit of finals footy at least.

The problem AR is that you have a team with more than half of the players as full time football professional and one team semi-professional. So not only should they have an advantage over the other in terms of fitness, physical development and skills they also have the advantage of greater IT, training infrastructure and personnel, recovery regimes etc.

None of the G7 clubs can compete and the only hope is that there are a large number of injuries to WA domiciled AFL clubs which will impact on the relative strength of the non-G7 teams.

Good Points Swan42...Listening to 91.3 after game I found it interesting and a stat I wasnt aware of.
Micale said the EP Team today had over 500 accumulated AFL games under their belt!
Found that hard to believe but he would know what he was talking about.
This must include players no longer listed but played AFL as well.

I wonder what the AFL games tally was for Subi amongst their players.

And shit the Top 5 Will come in next year... More agony and an inevitable result in the end Just so the WAFC /WAFL can make a few more dollars..
Only plus could be the WAFL clubs who host the games can get a few more dollars thats if ANYONE turns up

Say no more
