Whats the Go ? Have CH 7 pulled out for sure?

As i was told C7 have never committed any money to the broadcast, they want footy to give $1 000 000 to them and they wil show it.

Have been led to believe one major company being a motor vehicle dealership and 4 others were approached for sponsorship of the Wafl broadcasts on commercial television. Word going around is the sponsors pulled the pin.
Then begs the question, when another commercial station asked for 800 thousand, why was that not successful!? Sounds like a few interesting months ahead.

7mate couldnt give a rats they have their sponsorship covered from telstra...easier to show re runs of starsky & hutch than to broadcast any type of 2nd grade sport.

Just had an email sent to me about this years TV coverage and ratings. Some interesting numbers. Ratings are missing two games and the game numbers include this weeks Cl vs EP game.

Perth - 2 games (1 home, 1 away): ave rating 11.50

Interesting Barney I'm surprised by the figures of the other leagues compared to the WAFL. Do you think if the other presidents treated Bronte better he may sponsor the WAFL broadcasts, is it lo late. I think TV coverage is vital for the leagues credibility.

why would he care how he is treated ?
worth a squillion and got what he wanted which was the team formally known as East Perth back on top of the WAFL, no dramas in his world.
