Interesting the WAFC doesn't want feedback from the WAFL supporter base outside of WA.

I tried the "WAFL Fan Survey" through the WAFL website, selected "other" when asked my location, only to get a screen that reads:-

"Thank you for taking the time to participate in our online survey.
Unfortunately, you did not qualify for this research but we will be sure to contact you in the future with other research opportunities."

Insulting... Fast loosing interest in the WAFL comp this season.

I caravan a lot and have done a couple of trips around Australia and I assure you there are plenty of WAFL supporters out there and not all West Australian. I fly my Cardies flag.. Got a bigger one now and it is surprising how many people speak to me and ask how the WAFL is going and they also support a WAFL team.. (to many bloody EP supporters :(

This includes QLD,NSW etc. The internet certainly helps them keep in touch and get all results and info... We have a couple of posters on WP thread who live interstate. The main ones are the families of the guys who have come from the East to play with WA sides but others as well.
Of course our exposure is a lot more with Interstate games and Foxtel cup where people sit up and notice. Well in some anyway :(

The ABC game each week is replayed on ABC IVIEW so you can see a whole game of WAFL each week on the net. Dont know how it will go if CHN7 gets the games :(

I did the survey Mike but to be honest they are just doing it so they can make it look like they are interested. None of the answers will even be researched I would say. Bit like the Future Directions meetings the WAFL presidents had which came up with some brilliant idea's but rarely if ever happened.

The question that irritated me was - am I from
Perth, Interstate, or overseas?
None of those, I'm from rural WA.

Good one Singha.. go north and south a lot and they all like to talk WAFL. Incredible that WA country wasnt an option.. If you look at the player lists in the Budget a lot of Country players listed as well
