Hardest I can think of are Ian Dargie, Mark Haynes, - maybe David Snow?
Softest Brendan Fewster

Actually I should add here that the "fastest hands" tag goes to Maurice Rioli , Mister Magic's fists were quicker than the wind when he let them go

Ask Jimmy Krakouer how fast they were , probably ask Mark Jackson too although that dopey prick had that many hit him in the head that day he wouldn't remember I suppose

From other clubs always remember Kenny Hunter as being a guy who was never afraid to fling his body around the place, Leon Baker was a tough sort too. Boucher was just scary in terms of his size and demeanour, whilst Craig Nelson was pretty tough too in his days at WP from memory.

Thought you would rate Dargs Freeze especially after stitching up both of your Solin bros at the same time on his league debut as an unknown :P

Bazza: You might have had a few toughies at South in those days, but toughies aside, you only won one flag with one of the best sides ever seen in WA.

I guess it all depends on what you consider tough. I didn't think Basil Campbell was particularly tough...nasty and a bash artist yes...tough, not sure about that. Guys like Haydn Bunton, Craig Wulfe, Shane Beros, Ian Dargie were hard nosed in and under types which imo is what tough is all about...even Ali Pickett was tough in his own way given he was fearless against guys much bigger than he was.

DG, met Dargie at a 21st many years back, he was going out with the sister of the fella Larry Bird mentioned Nathan Brookes, who I was mates with at high school. Think Dargie had won his Sandover by then, nice bloke, good footballer and good chat.....as for Brooksie being tough.....yeah definitely one fella not to piss off when doing one to one drills at footy training.....TBH though was surprised he played league, because at high school he was an ok player at best....late developer I guess, played at Cl too from memory?
