Just further to the Coaching at Aligned clubs here is an article that clarifies the coaches of those two "clubs"... if you can call them that

Under the new agreement, the seven non-partner clubs will have their annual grants increased from $425,000 to $525,000, while East Perth and Peel will receive grants totalling $350,000.
But West Perth president Brett Raponi told Radio 6PR that increase was unlikely to off-set other potential losses of income.
"If you have a 10 per cent drop in crowds, members and sponsors on a turnover of $1.5 million, that's $150,000 gone right there," Raponi said.
"We might get an extra $100,000 but if we're losing $150,000, then there's a $50,000 hole."
The AFL clubs were unhappy with the current arrangement and had wanted instead to field stand-alone reserve teams in the WAFL so they could better manage their players.
But that bid was unanimously rejected several times by the WAFL clubs, ultimately leading to this week's deal with East Perth and Peel - a partnership Raponi described as meaning neither club would worry about how to pay their bills for the next five years.

Fremantle and West Coast will also have the final say in appointing the senior coach of their aligned club.
Peel and East Perth will maintain their logos and names.

Cardy as I understand it, it is what i have been told and frankly accept as the 'truth', Dawson was asked by EP to caoch he agreed and Nisbett said that was a deciding factor in EP getting the alignment. Interestingly Subi asked for the alignment but Schofields appointment was a mark against it being successful.

As I said it was what I was told from a few sources not all in ERT. In this case the egg (Dawson) came first and not the final say by wce.
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

If Subi got the alignment gig at the start of the season I'd never go to another game.

Raponi is right from what I have seen so far this year, the drop is attendances has been marked, sponsors seem thin on the ground, I reckon SF despite the increase in AFL handouts will be lucky to break even this year.

Mind you gate receipts made them bugger all anyway.

Fark BC, if Subi had gotten the alignment gig, they would be serving caviar and champagne in the outer on match day, instead of meat pies/hotdogs and beer mate!!.I reckon Subi could sub WCE a few bucks, they are that well off.....hopefully Subi will merge with my team the WBD......for as long as I have supported them WBD have been skint, just ask the SD boys re: Beasley.....though Subi do owe the WBD.....John Georgiades kicked 8 on debut from memory and had the club in a frenzy....only then to disappear into the Whitten Oval mud as fast as he appeared

I'd hate to think how EF will go this year financial wise Bazza, no Foxtel to bump up the coffers......and from the looks of things no draftees of any note bar Jack Cripps....and I reckon he would be a rookie spot at best!!

well...they'd be serving caviar and champers without me freez... WART and FART are a boil on the WAFL's arse imo. Nisbett and Rosich promised increased attendances at games and greater exposure for the WAFL but all I have seen is domination by WART and capitulation by FART...so they can get stuffed.
