Hence the reason why we have had this alignment thrown upon us again!

My understanding is that the Stakeholders of the commission have voting rights to elect commissioners.

Don’t quote me but I believe it’s something like:
• WCE, FREO – 50% of Vote
• WAFL Clubs – 30% of Vote
• Community & County Football - 20% of Vote

Community & Country consists of: WAAFL, Women's FL, Masters FL,WA Country League (24 individual country leagues)

Pretty much commissioners are elected by AFL & WAFL Clubs.

So 50 % to the WA domiciled AFL clubs and 2/9 of 30 % for their reserves' teams gives an absolute majority. QED.

Democracy in the free world...underlines everything we all believe about the WAFC. I've often wondered if we were given the right to vote for neither (not donkey vote but a box stipulating none of the above) in our political elections what kind of % majority neither would win by. Ever since Fong this footy commission has been nothing more than jobs for the boys. How much of a joke, well he was getting paid more than our prime minister at the time.

Because of that farking Weasel Fong & the catshit clandestinely formed down in Mandurah it is no wonder the WAFL is skint of funds

I fear the WAFC will sell back the licence similarly to how the SANFL did to help fund the Adelaide Oval merge with the SACA

Think it will occur during the handover process with Burswood sadly

It will signal the last hurrah of our clubs independence

On another front I hope the AFL draft fee increases markedly from the $30k it is now
