Great stuff mate, love reading these previews and stats. Interesting that Peel are having their best season ever defensively, now I wonder why  Nothing to do with Ross Lyon surely? Even then they have only won 2 games. Seems like Claremont have a complete stranglehold over them. Perth and South can expect a high scoring game based on past results and the Sharks V Eagles game could go down to the wire. West Perth have the wood over Subiaco in the recent past so that will give them confidence for the big game tommorrow.

Thanks Mike,

Could be an intersting round that's for sure.

I may have a slight error in East Perth's win tally, I believe they have actually won 1202 games already, I am just confirming that. The WAFL online website has them at 1200 but that appears to be incorrect too.

Confirmation - East Perth do have 1202 wins, so I have made a correction on website, I had some incorrect coding that missed 2 wins on protest and 1 by forfeit for the Royals, so please disregard point 6 on the EP v. EF game as that's not correct. with the same fix to my coding I now have SF on 1199 wins instead of 1198. Waflonline has them on 1200 as well.

Round 16 review online

Highlights include,

East Perth's most points scored in a 4th qtr v East Fremantle at Leederville
South Fremantle's 50th round 16 win, according to my stats it's 1200th win overall
The most behinds scored by Subiaco at Joondalup
Only the 5th time Peel have won with a goalless quarter
