From the round 1 Football Budget.

"Some of the Rules and Regulation changes include:
Due to its ninth placing in 2013, Peel has been granted permission to recruit a maximum of two non-district players for the 2014 season."

Like I said this guideline has always been part of the deal, the reason no one knows about it is because some didn't want everyone to realise it was agreed to.

Let's face it the reality is that whatever the Eagles want they will get; and not too far behind, the same applies to the Dockers. To put it as plainly as possible the WAFC is gutless and backboneless when it comes to doing what is best for the WAFL competition. One would be hard pressed to find a single important issue where they have backed the WAFL competition instead of backing the WA domiciled AFL teams.

Initially Both EP & PT were able to recruit up to 6 out of zone players in their squads in addition to their AFL listed horde
PT were then given an extra 2 players as a reward for their pathetic , WAFC borne & contrived history

As for Bootsma - couldn't care less , thanks for the 15 large FFC !!!

Obviously the Mandurah filth now has paid off it's financial debt to the league and so can now splurge on recruits
