Saw the below pics of the AFL Indigenous round jumpers as WOW they are brilliant.

What are you opinions on the WAFL revamping their jumpers to give them a bit more Modern look?
I know WP bring out a jumper for the Heritage round and not bad but obviously for the one day due to the theme

Some of the EF guys would like to see their old jumpers come back and a couple of the WAFL clubs have made changes to their jumpers.

I know a few (including myself) would see it a bad thing due to tradition and it would be similar to changing the Australian flag :( but having said that it could be a good marketing tool or maybe not.

View on this... Have put the AFL Indigenous jumpers up as they are in my opinion Brilliant and worth a look just for interest sake. Not sure about the Dockers jumper but the Lions and Eagles jumpers are brilliant

Most EF supporters seem to be very happy with the new jumpers introduced this year. Regarding the AFL jumpers for the indigenous round they look pretty impressive apart from the Collingwood jumper and may be the Carlton jumper.

Have seen the East Fremantle jumper and looks good IMO. www.facebook.com/wafootball
Scroll down a wee way and the design appears on the r/h/s.

I find most of them look too busy and detailed to be good jumper designs.

Port's is the best IMO, retains the boldness.

The WAFL NAIDOC jumpers look heaps better.

I may be unpopular with my opinion, but I think the jumpers look hideous. I cant stand them. I am glad they are worn once a year.
Just my opinion.

Don't agree jardine, I think they look great(except for 2 of them), but like you, I think once a year is enough. Any more and the impact will be lost.

Same. Nothing against the NAIDOC round, it's a good idea to recognised indigenous players, past, present and future
When it comes to club jumpers iam a traditionalist. Leave them alone. I even hate away jumpers.

I know call me old fashion , maybe that's why I love the WAFL.

I might cop some flack here, but here goes...

Maybe we should have Celtic week in mix. The jumpers could feature triskles, and other tribal British Celtic symbolism.

A celebration of Celtic culture, and its contribution to the game. A mixture of Marngrook and Gaelic games.

As 90% of Australian males are of Celtic background according to the ABS. Celtic round should not be ignored!

Even those with Indigenous backgrounds should embrace their other tribal ancestry.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Celtic_Australian

Then again, maybe we could just play in our normal jumpers and accept this great, diverse Australian sporting culture we have all created. Sport should be equal, and race and difference should not be pointed out.
