spot on astro - East Perth dogged its own supporters. They told us nothing and only wanted our views after the deal was done. It was underhanded and a disgrace. Those deluded few who have "learned to accept it", are actually giving the club the justification it was craving. I suspect if any of those EP members get an email from Nigeria from an old long lost relative, who has left them $17.5 million, many of them would start booking their flights to go over to Africa to collect their amazing fortune.

What are you talking about these clubs are reseponsible to there members for Financials , there were negotating a deal worth several million dollars over the 5 year term supposedly for the benefit of their members and the league in general as well as whoever was going to get the or not get the host club deal, they were supposed to be up front and honest with a deal that would totally change their clubs make up and future had they accepted the host club deal...

at that level it is a big deal.

As for Raponi, when the alignment was announced he said he had no knowledge a deal was even in the works or that any club was talking to the AFL clubs. That was despite the deal being talked about on here for a month or two before it was announced. If you can seriously think he wouldn't have a clue what was going on then you need to take your head out of the sand. If you agree that he would have known the AFL clubs were talking to WAFL clubs you have to ask why he was lying.

Why would a cashed up Subi want to?? and as far as i know Perth wanted nothing to do with any alignment deal.
