Reading todays West and Johnsons comments should make the WAFC wake up. He makes the comment about SDFC and Perth not having the same the coaching advantages EP now have.
He now joins Bronte in my opinion-these blokes have lost the plot.

They haven't lost the plot at all. All part of the plan.

It will now be a constant barrage of company fuelled diatribe targeted at those they feel are most vulnerable so that they can get the model that suits their position the best.

The bye is a grave inconvenience to them.

Did you think it would all go away once they got in and what they wanted. This will never stop. Never.

Absolutely spot on.

The jungle drums will start beating louder and louder from the alignment sponsors and propagandists and their media tarts about how terrible the bye is, how every club is broke, the WAFL is on its last legs unless radical change etc etc.

And if you think the WAFC is interested in anything other than what the two AFL clubs want you are sadly mistaken. Frank Cooper and his fellow lackies are lock stock in step with Freo and WCE on this. This is how we got this bastardised alignment model - the club presidents thought the WAFC was a neutral in this, they never were.

Notice in the WAFL preview magazine in 'The West" that every single scribe, and there were a few of them, went for East Perth to win the flag. There are usually at least 2 or 3 teams touted as premiership chances but no competition this season it seems. Then again Claremont were dead certs last year as well weren't they ;)

sad but now i have to put up with the Worst as a sponsor of the ert league team, all I need to complete the trifecta is mussolini's grand son P Murray to be the mascot

That insert is easily the worst one yet .... some players missing from lists , wrong jumper numbers , no ins & outs and just piffle in the summaries really

And Phil Lamb must be on some real good crack geez , not the only one in there though to be fair

Agree, I think it must have been written a few weeks back because the West Perth section stated that Andrew Krakouer was not going to play for them because he was "taking up an opportunity in the mining industry" :P . Lamb picking Souths for the wooden spoon was a real laugh although at least it gave the Swannies a break as all the other 8 went for us.

Talking of Swans, Johnson's statement seems to have hit a raw nerve with them with their president expressing his disgust in the West this morning. Raponi weighed in as well. Will be interesting to see if Perth make a statement as they were the other club that Johnson referred to, pretty brainless comment by Johnson IMO when they are trying to make this alignment thing work.

Johnson was interviewed at half time at the footy on the ABC last year, his comments then were exactly the same except he did not mention any other football club. So he thinks its fantastic that EP have an advantage and Perth and Swans are insignificant, give me strength.

how can it be a FAIR playing field when he lists all those advantages that west coast provide for his club when all the other clubs don't have the same (excluding peel)
those kids will be there for the short term cos their opportunities will be limited and will head to other clubs, amos or country...mark my words
SHAME SHAME SHAME

and we got to put up with model for 5 years....but I have my doubts!
