Gee I was going to follow you tips but didnt well actually I did pick the same teams or there abouts.. Tipping has not been fun over the last 2 weeks. Thanks for your trivia on each game interesting read.. I have been putting the WP V ??? GAMES on the WP thread as sure of interest.

Heard an interesting stat with regards to the AFL over the weekend. 65% of the time since the AFL's inception the team that kicks the first goal wins. Any idea if it sits around the same in the WAFL?

Mate, would love to give you an answer on that one. I have many stats but not which team kicks the first goal, sorry.

Managed to locate first goalscorers for this season
Round 1: 3 out of 4 winners kicked first goal C v P the only game losing team kicked first goal
Round 2: 3 out of 4 winners kicked first goal SF v P the only game losing team kicked first goal
Round 3: 3 out of 4 winners kicked first goal SF v EP the only game losing team kicked first goal

So easy to work out this year that 75% of teams who kick the first goal have gone on to win the match.

kick the first goal and your chance of losing halves....scary stat if you don't ....nice work mrfootyfacts, appreciate your response

Seasons now covered on site are 1930 to 2014.
Update includes:
All season reviews including qtr by qtr scores, round by round ladders, season records and match reviews including goalscorers and where available additional player stats.

Working on major update to teams, venues and WAFL records sections as well as adding remaining seasons from 1904-1929 not currently covered.

Once the above is done I will be expanding the player database.
