We (Subi) might be in a spot of bother this season from what I've seen in the scratch matches.

I know they aren't serious games but I'm not sure that I've seen anything from our recruits - apart from a kid named Shane Yarran - to suggest that any of them will be more than solid WAFL players although Stockley has great potential no doubt. Subi probably needed four or five out and out stars to come into the squad to challenge for the top 3 or 4.

Still, it's early days yet and we're yet to see Kyal Horsley in action and he is a genuine star at this level.

We're lucky that we have kids like Kennedy, Madut, Joyce, Le Fanu, Bogensperger, Halligan, Pickett jr, DeLuca brothers, Clarke, Scafidi, Moore, Jackson, Garcia, Fetherstonhaugh etc etc coming through. Hopefully 4 or 5 of those can step up right now.

Got to be hopeful at this time of year.

Very hard to make any predictions when it's pre season but I think it would be fair to say that West Perth will be in the mix again this year and South Fremantle will finish higher than they did last year

Might only be scratch matches but my oversavations after two weeks are SFFC to win more games than last year,Subiaco spent big but look to no better than last year. The two new AFL clubs not to be as domiinant as first thought. Falcons still look good and noe thinking Tigers could be a real slider

Yep agree with most Astro. SF came home on fire last year with some good wins so will improve. Subi struggling still developing again, EF ? will have to see after big losses but some good gains, CLA the honeymoon is over for them but they enjoyed it while it happened,SD Still will win games on given days as thats their spirit but losses will beat them in the end, WPFC will be in the mix and top 4.
Peel and EP will dominate most games - ok will lose the odd one but cannot see how they could lose the majority. Perth will still struggle.

Just my view and it could all change. As we have seen dont go on early results either. Perth are an example last year when they came out of the blocks hard and then fell in a hole.. Long season

All the best to all teams in the G7. The other 2 dont exist and are not WAFL :(

The Bombo Valley lads have given me a fat with the way they've gone so far .... very big hearted efforts given the losses in player ranks :)
