I agree with the original post, very little hype for me, last year was hard, this year will be very hard to maintain any interest,already a couple of blokes in what remains of our little WAFL going group have stated they won't be going to many games this year, instead they have grabbed dockers memberships, i guess it was of a case well you can't beat them might as well join them , on top,of that general dissolution with the way SFFC is being run, the hopeless management has added to this.

Not much Southerner, to be honest he is one of the reasons I am drifting away fromt he club.

Among a other things, that decision he made to hold the presentations in the front bar rather than the social hall where they were held for 50 yrs is annoying.

And why was the book launch of the club history held so late, those books have been sitting there for months and months?

As well as that we no longer have a bar manager, he cut that job, even east fremantle employs one, he is running it himself and cant do the job, I am dreading to see how the place is run match days. There will be a lots of complaints from visitors I guessing.

In his first year we lost $300,000.00.

I might add, this is the way the SANFL have done it. With the Crows having their own side. Far better than the alternative we have.

everywhere you look the SANFL think things through better than the WAFL. I honestly think they must laugh at the way we do things arse-backwards here.

the SA media at least have some idea and a shred of interest in their own SANFL. Over here we have media like hagdorn and Langdon who have zero regard for the platform of footy (WAFL), and come out after the event and express their so called concerns about what an alignment will do, despite all in sundry reiterating these disasters before it started.

we really have no idea here in WA, and we will pay for it, if we aren't already.

for different reasons the blokes who have left the comp this year are a long way ahead of the blokes entering the comp.

Geappen, Robinson, Hams, Roach, Sweet, Seal, Andrews, Jones, Richardson Laurie, Medhurst, Foster, Thomson, Ali Smith..

That's half a bloody state side.

Dogman - you mentioned state side, i just had a look at the state side last year and out of the comp from that team are Hams, Richardson, Motlop, Crawford, Geappen and Bower..

I wonder if the clowns at the WAFC have any idea of the loss of quality in the comp ?

Mark it's pretty clear the Hyenas want this .... after all have a look at where most of them (which traitor) come from .... Kickett etc
