Plus 2 !

It just shits me! It was always an incentive to have your players drafted locally. You get the money for them and they stay with you until they are ready for AFL duties. You get to raise them a little more and get some good footy out of them until they are whisked away by the local AFL club.

NOW, what is the incentive?? Money yes . . . but then they are gone in one minute and play for a rival trying to beat the team they were bought up in??

HATE IT.

Not because SFFC lose Main and Carter but because each WAFL club should reap that players ability until they graduate to the big league.

We may have Sokol, Vandeleur and Rioli drafted in the rookie and go to Peel and EP.

Did you listen to Karl Langdon on PR tonite? After someone rang in and complained about Sheed playing for the West Coast Royals next season he reckons that Subiaco and all WAFL clubs draftees don't really get much of their development from their WAFL clubs and brushed off this concern. He is a tool Mr Langdon, what do Subi fans reckon of that? In the case of Sheed maybe he is right I wouldn't know but he basically said this of all clubs draftees, F##K he shits me that is an insult to all WAFL clubs!

Would have to agree with him to a certain extent the WAFL is way below AFL standard and is more a scratch match level. Players need a run around I can't see any more value at WAFL level than that.

Personal attacks from fifty kilometres aside (Gutless Coward ?) My post was tongue in cheek, but I feel that is the attitude which pervades the powerbrokers of football in this state. They don't give two hoots about the WAFL and I anticipate massive changes sooner rather than later. Just a competition to develop kids and fringe players and the non aligned clubs can beg for crumbs.

SFFC I understand your anger, as I do the other folks, but being abusive does little for your standing on the site and in someways weakens the sites ability to have fair and rational squabbles.

Please understand that many EP supporters are as annoyed an frustrated you and the others. We cannot do much about it and have accept that at least you have a club in its original form to support.

I will continue to support the EP players and the 'club' it is original form, I will offer to provide any support to your players as I do my own on match days.

I hope we can have a good honest and fair squabble u grumpy bar steward!
