Can you tell me what swans have done for him? He just about won them Them a flag off his own back, won them a sandover medal and brought attention back to the wafl when it was becoming a little dull and boring!

Good for the comp the fella is coming back to play,could of gone to SA or stayed in the VFL. Swandog you of all folk should see that being an ardent and passionate WAFL fan......good to have Kraks back and here's hoping the kid gets a warm welcome where ever he plays.......LOL

Anyway the guy is 3 years older, had a bad knee injury and has less of a point to prove...SD got the better deal snaring him in 2010, there is no way in hell he will repeat what he achieved in 2010 at WP next year. Dodged abullet there I reckon......anyway it allows that SD colts progression plan to flourish even more with all these SD boys moving elsewhere.......win win for all concerned

Have to agree with you for the most part freeze ..although disappointed Kraks isnt coming back to the club that looked after him and his family through a troubled 2 years we maybe escaping a bullet in paying megabucks we cant afford for a 31yo who has recently come off a knee reco and a couple of instances of walkabout during this season. Who is to say with no AFL carrot dangling in front of him this time he might not have the level of discipline and the hard working attitude displayed in 2010 ..only time will tell I guess!

BH, You guys will be hoping thats the case, he is a highly disciplined individual who overcame his knee injury to still have an impact at AFL level, he was squeezed out by younger players at Collingwood and will be a handy acquisition at WP. He will not have to shoulder too much midfield work as we have some guns in there atm, he will be a a great goal sneak to say the least and a good combination replacement for Hutchie & Sala !

No doubting his ability Leedy but he did have about 2 or 3 instances this year of going walkabout for a week or 2 at a time that would of p!ssed Buckley off no end ..he might get away with that at WAFL level but it doesnt send a great message to the rest of the squad.
Do you know if the WP offer include's the job or was it straight upfront $$$$?

Well you might as well pencil in a WP v Eagles GF, and from what I've heard WP is Daniel Kerr's preferred club don't know how they can fit him in, so much for an even comp.

A fantastic player at his peak and when driven by a goal to reach greater heights.

Both are now behind him IMO. I'd be surprised if has a major impact at WP.

Disappointing to see so many players departing SDFC. Financial situation must be playing a part.

Swan dog very aware of what has happened over the last couple years. Now go back and look at ur gate takings whilst he pulled on ur jumper? Look at how many more ppl were interested in the wafl and sdfc, look at ur trophy cabinet!
Yeh sdfc gave him a chance but im sure any other club, if they could have matched the offer, would have done the same thing. He has paid his dues to ur club and he now needs to look after his young family. Footy has been his life for 12yrs and he is now needs to look at other avenues to make a living. Maybe they have offered him a job aswel, i dont know, but i guess it will all come out in the wash.
