Had a chat with Peter Troode former South Fremantle player and WAFL umpire whilst tripping around Tasmania following the AFL grand final. Peter operates a B & B in St Mary's on Tassie's East Coast. His partner Elaine has run a great Health Food cafe in St Mary's called the Purple Possum for the past 13 years. I thought the "purple" may have come from Peter's Fremantle origins but apparently the previous owners when smoking a banned substance thought they saw a purple possum!

hahahaha...jeez Peter Troode brings back memories. With that big helmet on his scone and the fact he was quite slim he looked like a 6'2" penis running around the park.
