I reckon Malaxos will be on his last legs in 2014, if EF fail to make the GF....makes sense TBH......though I reckon EF blooded as many first year players as SF did this year, thus I reckon Hase must be on thinner ground considering SF season was well over before EF season was.....EF blooded Jupp, Depane, Cronan, MacDougall, Howson, Simpson, Curley, Read, Hooker, Chalwell and Hancock.....plus got more games into 2nd year guys like Symonds, Lester-Smith, Jansen, Cooper, King, Henson and Duffy....thus I don't think that is too shabby......

Stavros definitely deserves another year without the AFL listed boys, then another IF things go well. At this point, I can't think of a replacement that would be better than him. After all, looks like Paul Roos is going to Melbourne.
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

Reckon malaxos would be relishing the prospect of coaching next year with zero eagles or Dockers influence. This is one of the few positives of the alignments.

Beating CLA proved they would of made a difference in the Finals.
They were hot comming home and definately the team finishing off best.
A 2 point loss up at Kunnenara and the the win showed they had the goods to compete with CLA in the Finals.

WP did their best but 28 to 19 free kick count didnt help and most directly in front of SD goals... So EF if you want to blame anyone blame that umpire for making the difference in the end even though we missed a few easy ones as well so It could of been a 6/7 goal win to WP..
Not that it mattered as no change to our possy and expect the finals to be a bit different especially with EP getting some AFL players in.

Interesting post by WAFLOVER re FINALS. GOOD to see has done a bit of research and a good post. If they front up with this lot they will be hard to beat.

East Perth are looking somewhat ominous now. Another big win and six Eagles have now qualified to play finals - Matt Rosa, Adam Selwood, Blayne Wilson, Cale Morton, Scott Lycett and Jamie Cripps.
I don't begrudge them Adam Selwood (always an EP-aligned player), but I think the addition of Rosa, Wilson and Lycett from Peel has strengthened them (despite the loss of Dockers players to Peel). And I think Morton and Cripps, who should be playing elsewhere, have certainly tipped the scales...

Cardy, whinging about umpires is not your usual form. The team that plays in front and is more desperate is generally more likely to win the free kicks and that team last Saturday was Swans. Even Moynahan said that it was likely that West Perth were only going at 95% and Swans may have been that much more desperate than they were, which is only natural given Swans had so much more to play for. I'm not saying all the decisions were necessarily correct but to say that if they didn't happen West Perth would have won is drawing an extremely long bow. Before you jump on me as one of those Swans supporters who whinge about umpires, I haven't blamed the umpires for any of Swans losses this year even the infamous 'water bottle game, I said at the time that Perth were worthy winners The only game that could ever be unjustly decided by an umpire would be a wrong free kick paid in the last 30 seconds which the other team would not have time to rectify. The reason that East Fremantle didn't make the finals was that they were not good enough to beat Swans last week. end of story.

No thin ground for Haselby just yet,,,a repeat of this year would of course raise questions,,,but that is not going to happen. ,,, much brighter 2014 ahead,,not looking as bright for EF , think you peaked last year buddy.

This is not going to happen? Who are you nostradamus? Mate you havent got a clue what's going to happen over the offseason, who's gonna leave, get drafted, I admire your belief in the SFFC. When you say the future is bright, in what way? Like i said EF probably blooded just as many newbies as SF, probably even more, got game time in a core of 2nd tier guys and 2nd year guys.......EF missed out on 4th spot in the last 15 mins of the season, SF season was over by June......and Perth beat your lot in the last game of the season, whilst an under strength EF beat the possible premiership winners for 2013.

We can all put a silver lining on every story, what ever happens happens, SF future is no brighter or duller than EF, PFC,WP,SDFC,Subi etc. Anyway from the sounds of things you reckon 2014 is already EP or Peels anyway.

When you say SF future is brighter, do you mean they finish 5th instead of 7th next year?

oh I see, I'm taking the bait now Bazza, yeah fair due mate, at least you have been one of the few SF boys to have the balls to discuss SF this season especially when the club has played pretty poorly by SF esteemed expectations.....though I did have a chuckle how you had a lot to say before the Perth game but little since it went all tits up.....didn't have the SF fans listed as front runners.....

....yeah I'll enjoy my summer mate, always do.....started a wee bit earlier than anticipated, but hey that's life.....I'll keep chewing the bait mate, because I love chatting about footy...as you will keep baiting me with all those once upon a time stories about how all those ex Cl / EF / Port/ Collingwood / VFL players and SFFC wanna/gonna be youngsters will lead SF out of the darkness next year.....and if not next year, definitely the one that etc..ho hum :whistle:

it's been a pleasure talking footy with you again this year....well when you come out of that dark closet it is any way?...must be a tight squeeze with you, Roman, Chcha and Bulldog80 all lying so snug in there bum cheek to face cheek.....sort of a 4 dog groupie hey mate?..each to their own I say :blink:
