Well done WP on a great day of WAFL footy and promoting your club to the people of Joondalup. 6195 at the game says it all!!!

I'm actually surprised that other clubs didn't take the initiative with what WP did successfully last season. Maybe they thought it was a one off and would wait and see if it worked again this season.

Every club should now look at doing the same and start by giving away 30,000 tickets or so to attract them to the WAFL. Be prepared with food and drink vans and make sure it's a family filled day with plenty for the kids to do as WP have done. It might just attract some of those that attend to come more often.

The Garlics did do a good job-great crowd and atmosphere.
