APPARENTLY NOT.
it looks like the crows are joining the sanfl.i doubt they will have a zone because the port magpies don't want to give up there zones just to have all their afl playing for them instead of spreading them around.the funny thing is if the crowss are going to join the sanfl they must have a devious plan or maybe they are smarter then us west aussies.

ROYAL 2019 wrote: The WAFL clubs should have been smart enough to allow the AFL clubs stand alone teams in the competition. Instead the usual pathetic in fighting has left us with the current debacle. My beloved Royals have been taken over but unfortunately the end will be worse for one or more other clubs.

Fundamentally Royal 2019 if Peel and East Perth had stayed with the other clubs it would not have happened. The WAFC had no power to add new clubs to the WAFL competition without the approval of the current WAFL clubs. Whether they liked it or not the WA domiciled AFL clubs would have had to wear the status quo. Your club and Peel chose the different path and sold your souls to the devil incarnate. You no longer have autonomy over your club.

It was interesting to listen to a call on the ABC sports programme on Saturday morning from a father who said that he might take his son to some WAFL games next year. His rationale for doing so was that he was under the impression that the jumpers that Peel and East Perth would be wearing would be the Dockers' and Eagles' jumpers respectively.

lot of garbage.the clubs should have let them have their own teams except for allowing peel to become the dockers.the problem with the g7 is they think the players who get drafted still belong to them.once they are drafted they are not yours.should have let them have their teams and held out for more money.would have rather seen a competition with the tradititional 8 having no afl listed players and not being told how they have to manage afl listed players.

I am not sure which century you think we are living in. I am pretty sure that slavery is not allowed in this day and age. Could you please explain the following queries:

(i) as has been quoted elsewhere apparently Worsfold and Nesbitt made a commitment that only 10 AFL listed players would play in the league team per match. Where do the other 12-14 players come from?

(ii) further to point one above what impact the exodus of 12-14 players would have on other competitions?

(iii) do you seriously think that the likes of Nick Naitanui, Michael Walters, Clancee Pearce etc would appreciate playing against Swans in a WAFL match?

(iv) what impact would there to be to the reserves' and colts' compettion if the Eagles had a 'league WAFL team'? Obviously they would not have a reserves' or colts' team.

(v) whilst there have been some problems catering for the AFL players returning to their WAFL club, the severity and number of those problems is far less than the alternative.

i am living in the 21st century.

(1) amatuer competition.i am sure if they throw a little bit of cash to the comp they could use 1 or two players from each of the sides depending on whether they need a midfielder, ruck, kpd.i don't think it is a issue especially if they have to be a certain age so youngsters have to play reserves for the wafl clubs.

(2)if they target a comp like the ammos and give them some financial help 10 to 12 players spread over several teams isn't a problem.

(3)if the eagles and dockers have their own sides with their own jumpers they won't give a stuff about the ducks.

(4)funny i thought we had a bye system already.i can't see the problem with ressies or colts having the occassional bye

Puerile in the extreme a/man. There is a vast difference between questioning one's espoused views and personal abuse. If one has sound and reasonable facts to back up a position there is no problem. However, if one simply makes completely and unsubstantiated views with no basis in fact there should be a robust questioning of such a position.

There is bugger all media about the 2nd Semi, the drop kick critics are tipping both the Ferals and Swans to make the GF, have they stopped to think that one of them are gone on Sunday. The farce has begun regarding the alignment, this is the prime time for other clubs to pounce on the arseholed players from the Ferals as it will certainly hit home now when they have worked their rings off all year to make way for the Eagles dicks !

Maybe Brett & Bill should get a Spock Bradmore or a Buzz Fewster re-registered to drum up a bit of interest in the 2nd Semi mate ..it seems to be working for us in regards to Big Red!! :P

Having trouble understanding Einstein?
It included all games V the contrived so called clubs
There is no such thing as EP, merely a plaything for West Coast
As for the bastard WAFL lovechild Peel, they continue to be the biggest joke in WA sporting history

mmmmm struggling here Swegden.....so as a Perth fan you won't be attending any games they play against EP or Peel?.....or as a Perth fan you won't be attending any games just between Peel and EP?........or in protest against the whole club alignment thing you won't be attending ANY games at all?......

not too sure what any of the above will achieve by one fella not attending games......your loss I guess not the WAFL's......thing is wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the crowd numbers go up next year.....think of all those U/25'swho don't know anything about WA footy except WCE or Freo will start watching EP and Peel play.....bums on seats surely must be good for the game.......though disappointed to think your bum won't be at another WAFL game from now......oh well lose one definite to gain another possible 300 - 400 is a pretty good sacrifice to me!
