Cobras are gone finished at the end of last year.
Balga will enter Open Rules next year on their own and Nollamara Ammo club are going to try and start a junior club from the ground up in 2014....

ok, good stuff. Better to have the boys not have to travel too far to training if possible. But yeah I've seen all the boys like Tyrese Miller and Ian Penny etc etc playing out at Kingsway and a bunch playing for W-G which is great to see.

BigO this has got me thinking. Are state schools allowed to enter DFDC competitions like say Marist, La Salle and Mazenod?

No they must be incorporated , independant with commitees and a constitution and affiliated with the WAFC AND DFDC in that area...

Marist have a club which is independant from Newman College.

Was just thinking how it might have been an idea to amalgamate Balga SHS and Balga JFC and have the High School kids register for yr8-12 via Phys-ed if they have big numbers attending the school and kids into their footy.

Like registration day coming to the kids instead of the kids going to registration day sort of thing. But yeah...not to worry

Things are changing next year across every district and will be announced soon to help with retention of 14 to 17 year olds.
