Cardy whilst it may be considered an argument in semantics even though the two authors of the document are Swan Districts' directors, it is not a Swan Districts' document. My understanding is that it is a working document to provide a mechanism for ongoing discussions to occur as to the best way forward for the WAFL competition. As I have said previously I do not know Howard Douglas and I do know Paul Douglas. I have no reason to believe that Paul's motives are anything other that to attempt to find the best method of ensuring the WAFL's continuing future.

The above should not be construed as my approving of the content of the document. As I have also said that fundamentally I am opposed to the rebranding of the WAFL name to AFL WA.

There is certainly a difference between the commercial Fantasy Football and our Grassroots game or say once Grassroots game. Aussie rules is not becoming the Business empire who are killing it. So much for 22 men running on to play for their club instead now we have 22 men who are running on to keep their Big pay packet comming in.. RIP WAFL and other Grassroots footy where guys played it just because they loved footy and for no other reason

SD and SF The only two clubs who voted against the expansion to the VFL as well
