East Perth v Claremont
East Perth appear to have outs at the wrong time of the year but are still good midfield - Claremont to me have been going under the radar a lot since losing Buller and just giving enough to get by and also have a very good midfield
I just think Claremont might have that little bit of experience that East Perth would like to have
.

.
Subiaco v either AFL and/or Mandurah whichever one gets released
like it or not it is going to depend on what it released by the AFL - you cannot see the AFL risking any good fodder this close to draft and it could be good for Subiaco
.

Subiaco might further like their chances - word is a Fremantle fringe kid has asked for trade

It all depends on who Freo releases to play. Apparently they have 13 qualified as per the rules but whether they all are available whilst their mates are on holiday is anyone's guess.

Apparently the weather forecast for the matches over the weekend is for rain.

We beat them earlier in the year down at Centrelink stadium in the wet so that forecast shouldn't be an issue. They have plenty of good talls so the rain might negate their ability to control the marking contests. Subi play a simple down and dirty sometimes chaotic style that hopefully will work better in the wet.

Well done again by The West newspaper. Not one mention of the WAFL finals in the paper today. All AFLW crap. The WAFL now can’t get any free air time even when the AFL aren’t playing.

There were 3 stories about the weekends games on the digital platform this morning. These will almost certainly be printed in Saturdays west as they have all season. Fact is that most people, particularly young readers go to online sources for their information so they are just responding to where the demand is. The West is not a good paper but it is not true that they are ignoring the WAFL

turned out it was Mandurah who have provided the first little shake
Subiaco got belted in the 3rd quarter after getting a big lead

looks like the whisper that there might be more salary cap issues may have some truth
