Good luck to the players tonight. Glad to see the event is broadcast by 91.3 FM & live streamed on streamer.com
I certainly can’t see any Subi players polling highly. Maybe a veteran in Aaron Black could be a chance?

Giro should easily get the most from Subi Frothy...not enough to win but he was pretty good throughout the year.

I think the winner will come from Turner, Boekhorst or Bolton.

Milan Murdock might snaffle a few votes away from Boekhorst.....Turner for me from Boekhorst and Rogers

Well done to Boekhorst for winning the medal. Clearly the best player this year even though he missed the last part of the season. I thought Meadows was going to snatch it in the last two rounds but in the end there were too many West Perth players grabbing votes.
Great to see the hall of famers and legend John Gerovich being presented to the crowd. Gero was very witty and funny amongst other things describing the  iconic statue of him outside Fremantle Oval as "a bird toilet"
The only criticism I would have of the evening was that it was too dragged out, not finishing till 11pm. Surely they could have tightened it up a bit to ensure it didnt go much beyond 10. I know there was a dinner going on at the venue but for the viewers watching it on livestream there did seem to be a lot of dead time between the action on the stage.

Tuning into SportFM on two separate occasions during the night proved disappointing because of the dead times. Ended up not bothering to listen anymore.

I was looking at Twitter, foolishly thinking the WAFL would be giving regular updates. Not a bloody thing… at all.

Listening to the radio news bulletins and "so called sports reports" early this morning - had NO mention of the Sandover medal count at all!!
That being very disappointing it needs saying!

Well done to Boekhurst, the couple of times I saw him play he was outstanding. He has really flourished since moving to EF under Bill's guidance. Should see him back late next year hopefully for the Gummies.

Yes I didn't bother to listen in as it has always been a bloody marathon, unnecessarily long.
