Here's a list of Subi players from the GF team and their allocated points as shown in the Budget which might surprise some.

1 point players: Kitchen, Dela, Sokol, Lockyer, Bailey Matera, Heal.
3 point players: Dewar, Rohde.
10 point players: Marsh, Harris
12 point players: Brandon Matera

Thats 44 points for that list, the rest of the team are 1 pointers.
the points system is a dogs breakfast.players on your list who were once at least five points are now only one point.even with several years service playing at subi i think they should at least be 2-3 point players minimum.one pointers should only be players from the local zone.in 2019 east perth recruited tony olango who was a rookie on west coast eagles list and never played a afl game and was deemed a ten point player which seemed a tad harsh.not sure if the point system will ever reflect a players true value.

Agree Chaddy, Dela and Kitch are approaching 150 games for Subi, Lockyer & Sok are well over 100 so long term servants of the club. I agree that interstaters, ex non zone afl listers and other non zone players should have a permanent minimum points allocation of at least 3. Was just pointing out that Subi have plenty of room under the points cap.

A lot more then a lot of other clubs have spare SS....and that's where Subi stays ahead of the rest.....not their fault either.....just simply staying within their allocated points.....

KC....you forgot Liam Ryan mate....how EF overlooked him I will never ever know....interesting a lot of Mid West indigenous boys head to Subi......must be the Flyin Ryan factor.

Again does that come down to resources? Subi seem to be very good at finding diamonds in the rough. Shane Yarran was one of the best, plucked him from where? I know he'd done time in his troubled life before he wound up at Subi. Tragic how it ended.
Get on your bike.

For every Flyin Ryan there's a heap of Garlett, Jackson ect that don't make it. Not sure how EF missed out on Liam but Subi have certainly (rightly) dined out on it.

Yarran? Wasn't he originally Peel?

so true. it is criminal the number of good players that get lost in the colts system due to coaches writing off a player due to a perceived weakness instead of seeing a player’s potential and working with them on their weaknesses. It is not just Perth either. I know a coach at another club who said that their current fairest & best was the subject of vigorous debate about whether he should be turfed or not earlier in the year due to being “unaccountable”. They are all in the same page now no doubt, but at the time i said “send him to Perth!!” but unfortunately they didn’t 😂

What a fuckin joke. Another one sided premiership coming up.

Yep the rorts continue on their merry way!

So where's the rort Roman, the points system is run by the WAFC, some clubs have more points than others, some have less.

He was about to go to Swans and your mob go over the top with a better offer.
You do it all the time. You just go for anyone good and other teams cannot compete. Where's the fairness in that?

How do you know that Roman? Could it be he was weighing up offers from several clubs including Swans and simply chose Subi because they were the best option? We miss out on players as well including our own in Ainsworth so not sure where you're coming from there.
