Ozfooty now has its own WAFL Tipping Competition under the Tipping Comp heading in the main menu under the Ozfooty banner. For mobile/ iPad tablet users click on the menu button to the right of the Ozfooty banner.

Click on that and there is a link that will take you to the website where you can create your username and password. It's a week late but I only just discovered software to create a WAFL tipping competition. If you forget to put your tips in you will be awarded 1 winner. If you successfully tip a draw you will be awarded 3 points.

Well done there A. No harm in conducting a second WAFL tipping scenario. My understanding being these 2 are the only WAFL tipping competitions in existence. Sadly, the ES one fell off the perch a long time ago.

Yes thank you WAG, the intention was always to have one that runs itself without any input except from the tipster themselves. ESPN used to run tipping comps for WAFL, SANFL etc... but they stopped doing that a couple of years ago. Ric has obviously got a good one going on his website he has been running for a couple of years but I'd like to see Ozfooty members get on this one using the same username as here to add a bit of interest like the days when someone would run a tipping comp on the chat site.

I'm in OFA. It wouldn't take BC as my user name so went for BC73 the first Lions premiership I ever witnessed.

Thanks BC, yes unfortunately your username needs to be a minimum of 3 characters and if your username is already taken you will need to add a character. It says must be alphanumeric but I’m told that is not the case.

Here is an update of the Ozfooty Tipping competition. A few of you missed putting in your tips but are credited with 1 winner anyway.

 

A bit belated but congratulations to BC for winning the Ozfooty tipping comp for 2021. Thank you for the small number of tipsters who participated. Hopefully more will get on board next year when I will have it up and running a bit earlier. 

Thank you to Face Your Fears for providing the excellent software that makes tipping so easy. 

 

Cheers OFA. Not putting my tips in for round 3 tightened it up a bit but still happy to get over the line. Do I get a couple of free GF tickets for winning? . Thanks for running it and looking forward to bigger and better next year. I also agree, it was very easy to use and it's a great piece of software.

A bit late for that now BC but perhaps next year we can put a $10 entry fee on it and I’ll try and secure a couple of good WAFL GF tickets for the winner to dangle a carrot and donate the balance to FaceYourFears. The tipping software is free but relies on donations. I made a small donation when I signed up to create the tipping comp and will make another one soon.
